LHC delivers a simple core service: They bring buyers and suppliers together, to build and maintain public property more efficiently and cost effectively, and to benefit the local community.

LHC is a leading provider of free-to-use framework agreements that can be used by local authorities, housing associations, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.

Including easy access to offsite manufactured volumetric building systems, for the use in new home build projects.

LHC was established by London boroughs in 1966, but now has offices and field based staff throughout England, Wales and Scotland. More than 700 public organisations have used their frameworks.

Community Benefit

LHC is funded via a small levy paid by their appointed companies on invoices raised on call-off projects delivered under the framework. As a not-for-profit organisation they return surplus to their client contracting authorities, to support social value initiatives in their local communities.
