BWF were delighted to be able to offer this supply only package (to watertight) to a lady in Somerset who was looking for linked accommodation for a disabled relative.

This building needed to offer an element of independent living but a connection to the main property as well. Working with the client the brief was to design a space that accounted for the needs of a wheelchair user, including wider doorways and lower thresholds, whist creating a light airy living space and wet room.

The 150mm SIPS walls and joisted floor & roof were pre-fabricated & despatched from our unit in Truro and arrived on site ready for the clients builders to erect. The components enabled a rapid on site build and have created a delightful fit for purpose room, the occupier enjoyed choosing the interior fit out once the structural element was completed. Some detail of note were a concealed guttering system, a sedum roof, vertical Siberian Larch cladding & Slate Grey wood grain effect double glazed UPVC windows and doors.
